Refund & Cancellation Policy

Piixel is a digital subscription service. This page explains, in plain language, how billing, cancellation and refunds work. It summarises our Terms of Service (§4–§5), which remain the authoritative version if anything here is unclear.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable; the exact tax is calculated at checkout from your billing country. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of verified runs that resets at the start of each billing period and does not roll over.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal (Account → Manage billing). Cancelling stops the next renewal — your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not charged again after that. You won’t lose your projects when a paid plan ends; you simply return to the Free plan’s limits.

Refunds

Except where the law requires otherwise (see “Right of withdrawal” below), payments for a billing period that has already started are non-refundable, because the service and its monthly runs are made available to you immediately for that period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused runs or for the remainder of a period after you cancel.

You are never charged for a failed build. If a build doesn’t pass its own verification, Piixel rolls it back to the previous snapshot and it does not count against your monthly runs — so you don’t pay for results you didn’t get.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

A subscription is a digital service supplied to you immediately. As described in Terms §5, by starting a paid subscription you request that the service begin at once and acknowledge that you therefore waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has been supplied — you confirm this with a required checkbox at checkout. Business customers have no statutory right of withdrawal. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.
